The saying "First Impressions Last" actually holds true, first impressions can make or break your first date. So, what kind of impression did you make in your first face-to-face date?

While it's true that it takes a lifetime to build a good reputation, it is also true that it only takes a few seconds to annihilate it. Now, let's rephrase that. It's true that it takes several emails, a few minutes on IM, and a few more minutes on a phone call to build up your reputation to your ideal date. It takes a whole lot less time to ruin that said reputation. Especially during your first face-to-face date.

On the bright side, the opposite is also true. It will take you a lot of embarrassing moments and bumbles to actually break off a good first impression. So short of stepping on his foot every few seconds or insulting his family, a good first impression would last in your millionaire match mind whilst online dating. In this way, the unalterable nature of your first impression would work to your advantage. Once you know how to make a good impression in the first place, that is.

So, we come to the million-dollar question: how do you give a good first impression to your millionaire match? How can you keep him from running away and ask for more dates?

For one thing, you have to command respect. This always gives a good impression. A man would always come back to the woman he has respect for. Hey, no wonder there are a lot of mommy's boys in the world! But you can use this to your advantage! Be the respectable female that he can come back to.

What comprises a respectable woman? And no, it does not involve old fashioned clothes that are centuries-old out-of-date and it does not involve wearing glasses, a long, skirt, and long-sleeved blouse. No. It simply involves confidence. A good bearing and poise. Be calm and poised while in your first date with him.

But most likely, you would get flustered, tongue-tied, and nervous when meeting your millionaire match. A perfectly reasonable reaction. But here's my tip for you: don't think of it as meeting your millionaire match, because you will be vastly intimidated. Think of it like you're meeting an old friend, because in essence, that is what you are doing. If you think of it that way, your mind has less stress to cope up with and you would feel more relaxed. Stop worrying about small details like your hair, make-up, and clothes because believe me, this matters little if you are oozing with charm and confidence. It's all in the mind.
