Marketers always query the most effective techniques to submitting articles for the easiest results. Which are the most effective techniques?

The foremost technique is to submit your article to the mother of all article directories, EzineArticles. It has set itself up as being the best article directory online. It has won over marketers and Google for this very reason.

It is a source of aggravation to many marketers who find it tricky to meet the submission guidelines or cope with the timescales for articles to be approved.

You can easily get your articles approved by following to their policies.

As soon as they are accepted by EzineArticles you instantly obtain benefits from it. Articles submitted to this directory frequently rank highly in Google, even without any backlinks pointing to them.

Get a few backlinks and you will find your articles ranking well for chosen keywords. Often you don't even need backlinks to rank well.

When your article has been published you must do some simple backlinking to it to help it rank well in the search engines.

To begin with, submit your EzineArticle author RSS feed to the RSS directories. You can either use a tool or do it by hand. If you are doing it manually, just select the top ten directories in a Google search and that will be good enough for now. You can always submit to more later on, so make sure you keep track of which ones you have added your feed to.

You can ping your article at one of the many ping sites. This does give Ezinearticles a lift, but it also gets your article noticed.

Finally, social bookmark your article. This can also be done yourself or with a tool. A well written article could be submitted to Digg or Stumbleupon to get added links and traffic.

Of course, there are numerous article directories on the Internet, but none of them have as much authority as EzineArticles. Google Knoll is a current contender and is very popular with marketers who are using it to submit their articles too. So far, these are not appearing to be ranking as well as Ezinearticles, but it is a good way to get the Big G to pay attention to your sites.

For the other article directories it is not worth submitting articles by hand to them, except maybe the top few best known directories. Many of the rest get very little traffic and are only worth it for the backlink. For that reason you should outsource or automate all submissions to these directories.

If you are submitting articles then you need to make sure they are on Ezinearticles for maximum visitors. With a little bit of backlinking to your article and you will easily find your articles ranking well for their keywords and bringing you good traffic.
