I will be the first to admit there is a lot of competition on the Internet today. Even niche marketing is beginning to crowd up a little bit. So if you are brand new to Internet marketing how could you start making money online?

In this article I want to give you three alternatives to actually selling products on the Internet as a way to make money.

1. Join The Google Adsense affiliate program. With this program you get paid when people click on ads Google puts on your web pages.

One way many people choose to do this is to join Blogger.com which is owned by Google. This allows them to quickly get approved for the Adsense program and to put ads on their blog.

They then build a website and begin to integrate ads in to the web page itself. This is something you can outsource and it doesn't have to cost a lot of money if you don't want to build a web page yourself.

This is the simplest response you are asking your website visitor to do. Click on an ad and you make money. They do not have to purchase anything and you can make anywhere from a few hundred dollars a month to a full time income as your business grows.

2. Join a CPA ad network and find offers to promote. This is known as pay per lead programs or cost per action programs. What makes this a good way for a newbie to make money is you get paid to generate leads for companies.

This pays more than the pay per click model of Google Adsense. Yet it also does not ask your website visitor to purchase anything for you to make money.

There are many different offers available for you to promote so you never will get bored or run out of ideas. You literally can get rich promoting these offers as there are people earning seven figure incomes doing it.

3. If you have a skill you can probably start making money online selling it. Blog writers are in demand right now.

Website design and blog builders are in demand as well. Business coaching is extremely lucrative and people are making a lot of money on the Internet designing graphics and setting up membership sites.

The nice thing about providing a service and getting paid for it is chances are you will never run out of customers for your service. These are a few ideas on how to start making money online even newbies can do.
