When you suspect that you spouse is cheating on you, there is only one thing you need to do, you need to find out the truth about what is going on. You need evidence of an extramarital affair. There are a couple of ways that you can gather evidence of cheating; you can either do it yourself or hire an investigator to do it for you. This article is going to tell you what to look for and how you can find evidence on your own.

A cheating spouse will give you signs without meaning to that they are cheating. You have to play close attention to details and even snoop if necessary. Don't do anything illegal, but check their text messages and their phone calls. Also, check their computer to help you gather the evidence you need. Just remember not to do anything illegal. Here are the signs to look for and ways that you can use them to gather evidence.

One: Physical appearance - When you spouse is cheating on you, they will all of a sudden start dressing better and making an effort to look good that they didn't used to do. If this happens, you will know that there is something going on. Start keeping a journal about the differences in their appearance and any other changes you note.

Two: Does your spouse treat you any differently? If they do, then this is evidence that they are cheating because when they are involved with someone else, they will start to treat you differently and may not even realize that they are doing this, but the signs are there if you look for them.

Three: Work habits - If your spouse starts claiming that they have to work more hours than usual so they can get time away from home, or claiming they have to travel for their job all of a sudden or more than usual, then this is a sure sign they are cheating. You can hire an investigator to find out where they really are and this will be the evidence that you need.

Four: Having an affair will take money, so check your financial records to find out if there are any charges that you are not aware of. This is a good way to gather evidence of an affair.

These are just a few of the signs that your spouse is cheating and how you can gather evidence of an extramarital affair. Evidence of cheating is not hard to find if you just know what to look for. You now have a better understanding of different ways that you can find the evidence that you need, so you can get the proof you need in order to stop it from continuing to you.
