One problem that many MLM distributors face is creating a system for generating MLM leads. This becomes a problem because finding a successful upline to help you does not always work either.

So, if you want to provide leadership to your downline you need a MLM leads system that works. Here are a few ideas on how you can do that starting from scratch.

1. The first point we want to make is you do not need to spend a lot of time creating a list of family and friends to bother. This is the old way a lead generation and is a harder and unnecessary way to do it today thanks to the Internet.

2. A system for MLM lead generation must work for you 24-hour today, 365 days a year. You do this by automating a prospecting system that works for you online whether you are working or not.

3. You should promote a splash page that entices a person to give you their name and e-mail address. The MLM Company you are in may have splash pages already developed for you to promote with. If not you can create your own or hire someone to do it for you.

4. You need an autoresponder that's preprogrammed with a series of messages to follow up with your prospects once you have their name and e-mail address. A system is only as good as the tools you use, so find a good auto responder such as Aweber or GetResponse to put your leads in.

5. Once you have the setup work done, and in place, you must spend the majority of your time promoting your splash page and following up with your leads. Your MLM leads system must contain proven methods of advertising to generate quality traffic.

A couple of ones to consider are pay per click advertising and article marketing. PPC advertising is paid advertising and can generate traffic for you almost immediately. Article marketing is free, or nearly free, and will take a little longer to get traffic coming in, but the long term results can be very beneficial.

As you begin to get traffic and leads into your system, you can branch into other forms of lead generation such as social media, blogging, discussion forums, and so on.

This is several things to keep in mind when building an MLM lead system from scratch. It is important that you develop a complete system and be consistent in how you work at it on the daily basis.
