It has become an accepted part of life that when you organize a function or celebration of any kind, party favors are given to the guests to thank them for attending. Parties are in most cases seen as a give and take occasion and a baby shower is certainly no different. Organizing baby shower party favors is a not only about giving gifts of necessary baby goods to the mother-to-be, it is also about the guests having a good time and knowing their attendance has been appreciated.

Baby shower party favors can be personalized or not, however the mood takes you. However in many instances guests keep these as mementoes, so it is a nice token to have them personalized with a little thank you tag or special packaging.

For example you could present them each with a small cake or cookie with their name inscribed and a little thank you note ties to the packaging. There are so many different party favor options available for baby showers or any other type of celebration; and you can get really creative with these.

If you feel like getting creative you could make, candles, soaps or bath salts and have personalized packaging made, or you could get the whole thing done by one of the many unique and industrious online stores providing these services.

Online stores which provide party favors for many different occasions are relatively inexpensive. Party favors should not be expensive gifts, as there is already enough expense involved in the actual hosting of a function such as a baby shower. The hostess of this event is generally responsible for all the expenses of hosting it, although it costs nothing to ask each of your guests to bring a bottle of something and a plate of eats.

If this is the case you have to bear in mind they are bringing food, drink, and gifts for the mother-to-be. So giving them each a small token of appreciation really should be a matter of importance. Just make sure that you have enough favors to give out to the guests, for instance if you were going to give them each a personalized gift packaged essential oil, Lavender is always a good choice as everyone likes it. But make sure you have extra's on hand, you never know, and you may end up with more guests than you anticipated.

Having party favors personalized, makes this small gift so much more appreciated. It shows guest that you have not only thought about the mother-to-be, but you have also thought about their attendance being important too. Favors can be handed out at prizes in games, if you play them at the event, or just given to departing guests. Which ever way this is done, make sure that every one receives a favor, and the event will be remembered for a long time to come.
