No detail has been spared in creating this version's authentic feel and surrounding characters. Guitar Hero III brings on the new arcade-inspired guitar battles. Players succeed by striking the most correct notes in battles of style and rock power. The conventional Star Power sequences are replaced by the awe-inspiring Battle Power sequences that have power-up rewards for scoring points. If the player beats the Boss, the challenge level increases with a new boss at a new level.
Guitar Hero III provides dual controls for two players for selected songs. Unlike earlier versions, this feature can also be used in the in your face Battle mode. Whether playing with a friend or battling it out, this interaction is a real bonus.
The Les Paul Guitar controllers are state of the art and the interchangeable faceplates let players show their own style. The wireless capabilities allow freedom of movement and expression as guitarists rock their way to glory.
