Private piano instructors mean no harm. For the most part, they love their music, like their students and do the best they can to teach aspiring students. Some piano instructors even come to the home of the student. Others ask the student to come to them. Old fashioned piano teachers train, educate and work with students, give the students assignments and expect them to return after hours of unsupervised practice showing the fruits of their labor. The instructors then go about their lives.

Sounds grueling doesn't it? Students show up when it is convenient for the teacher. They usually travel to the teacher's residence then return to their home to spend hours of practice alone on their piano or keyboard. A week or so later the students return to the teacher to see what they have learned correctly or what they have learned incorrectly. Sounds sort of haphazard doesn't it? And, it is expensive. Students can expect to pay anywhere form $75.00 to $150.00 per hour of instruction. Discouraging, isn't it?

Forget it! There is a better way; an easier way; a less expensive way to learn to play the piano. Better yet, there is a fun way to learn to play the magical piano.

Wouldn't you like to learn to play in your own home? At your own pace? With a teacher at your side? With other students willing to offer constructive advice and assistance? When you are stumped on a problem, wouldn't it be great if you could return to an earlier lesson? Those are the very ideas behind learning to play the piano online.

Online piano courses are determined to remove all the old-fashioned negativity from the learning process. Rejoice in accomplishing your dream of playing the piano for yourself or for others. And, it is affordable. Typically students pay less than the price of two expensive private lessons to get a lifetime of lessons. Online piano course accommodate beginners, intermediate players and advanced pianists seeking refresher courses and training.
