Your marketing mindset impacts what strategies or tactics you choose to market your business.

If you have a negative attitude towards marketing and selling yourself and your services, you are probably not going to market with any consistency or even at all.

A negative attitude can also severely limit the kinds of marketing you do undertake. If you have a closed mind regarding marketing then it's likely you won't have the curiosity or willingness to try different ways of marketing your business.

This can lead to inertia on your part - not a great position to be in when you're trying to grow your company and find more clients!

Getting in a rut with your marketing means you won't be reaching as many people or attracting new clients. It can also impact your personal growth. By not having an interest in marketing, you will deprive yourself of the boost in your confidence by learning a new marketing skill, which will increase your productivity and passion for your business.

That's why your marketing mindset is so important to being a successful marketer of your virtual assistance service. A negative or lackluster attitude can impact everything from your bottom line to your personal satisfaction to your clients' receiving the maximum benefits from working with you.

If you work on a positive attitude towards marketing you'll be doing yourself, your business and your clients a big favour. If you have enthusiasm for whatever marketing activity you are doing, this enthusiasm, excitement and passion will come through to your clients and prospective customers.

By feeling good about marketing you'll be able to more easily foster the willingness and curiosity to try out different marketing tactics - which will in turn boost your confidence and this will come across to everyone in your business world. Also, by being willing to expand your marketing and try new things, you'll bring in more clients faster and easier.

The better your attitude towards marketing, the more willing you'll be to increase your knowledge and understanding of marketing and all it entails. The more you experiment and study marketing (through books, articles, courses, seminars, coaching, mentoring) and get help from marketing professionals, the more successful you'll be.

It is important that you feel good about your marketing as well as choose tactics that fit your skill set, interests and of course, your business and marketing goals.

You want to choose marketing strategies that you are comfortable with or at least not terrified of! You want to feel authentic and comfortable when you're marketing, because then your passion and confidence will really shine through - and that attracts clients and keeps them coming back.
