Wedding favors do not have to be expensive to mean something to your guests. You can do something homemade and make it mean the world to your guests. It does not have to be anything big just a simple gesture to say thank you for coming to my wedding.

So when you and your better half are thinking of ideas it should be about who you are and what you enjoy. Make it unique for your guests so the will remember this day.

1.You can put a small bell on a card that would have a saying on the card like a poem. When you kiss at the reception the guests can ring the bell.

2. You can wrap up some chocolate in nice fabric with a ribbon and put a piece of paper on it that would have you wedding date put on that.

3. You can also get a picture of you and your partner the one you love the most and put it on the back of a backing paper you could get at a craft store and write something on the bottom that they can take home.

4. Flowers and balloons are a favorite for guests and kids to take home after the wedding. They are cheap but you can make them look great for the room. You could use ribbon that will match your color in your wedding and then your guests just take home and enjoy.

5. Other ideas for cheap wedding favors could be small wedding mint tins.

6. Small picture frames do not cost much and you can do a lot with what you put in them.

7. Little mints are cheap and taste good too!

8. Soaps with the date of the wedding on them are easy to personalize.

9. Just sit down and think about what you want to accomplish with your wedding favor gift. One idea would be to tell little bit about yourself in your gift. Are you a person that has a hobby? Maybe a golf wedding favor or a favor that ties back to music for example.

10. What do you love and what do you do for fun, or for relaxation. Be as unique as you want and know that it does not have to be an expensive wedding favor to make it work when you put it on the tables.
