What Is Affiliate Income and Why Should You Care?

If you are trying to make money on the Internet today you have probably come across affiliate programs. This is proving to be an excellent way to create income and in this article we want to talk about how you can do that as an affiliate marketer.

Creating an affiliate income will become very important to you if you are looking for one of the easiest ways to make money online today. We know this for a fact because ordinary people all over the world are making anywhere between a few hundred dollars a month to several thousand dollars or even more!

There are several different ways you can create an affiliate income selling products for other people.

1. The most common way is to actually sell a product. You join an affiliate program for free and get paid to sell the products that they offer. You earn commissions by driving traffic to your affiliate sales page and are paid every time they make a purchase.

2. Selling leads is another way to create an affiliate income. This can be done in many different industries, although you commonly see it in mortgage loans, real estate, and these sorts of businesses. You get paid to create the leads and then sell them to a lead company.

3. Google Adsense pioneered a new form of affiliate marketing known as pay per click. Joining the Google Adsense program is very easy to do and you earn money every time somebody clicks on an ad that Google supplies for you.

This has become a popular way to earn money because you do not actually sell anything. Google will give you a script to paste on your web page that automatically comes up with advertisers based on the theme of that page.

Then every time somebody clicks on an ad you make a small commission. This could be anywhere from a few cents per click to several dollars. The main thing here is all you do is drive traffic to the site and then let the people click on the ads.

4. One other form of affiliate income that does work for some people is 2-Tier affiliate programs. You earn money for recruiting affiliate marketers and every time the people you recruit make a sale. In these types of programs you are putting your emphasis on training the affiliate marketers underneath you.

These are four different ways to create affiliate income that can make a lot of money for you.
