If you can afford to spend a little bit of money, or when you create extra money, it would be wise to consider outsourcing some of your tasks. Outsourcing is farming out certain tasks to others. You have probably heard of places like Elance. A portal where one party can post work needed to be done and freelancers can bid to take on the project. Usually this can be done at reasonable prices.
There may be some jobs you are not good at or feel uncomfortable doing on your own. For example, let's say you are not very technical. You might outsource the creation of your website, or logo creation, or maybe having some articles created for you. You can attach your name as the author and place your links, just as if you wrote the article yourself. It could even be a simple matter of time well spent. In other words, your time might be more financially effective spending extra time marketing while others do technical grunt work for you. You can create revenues while marketing, while you are just working when creating something like a template.
One philosophy you will want to engrain in your head is, "you want to be working ON your business, not IN your business". It is very easy to soon become overwhelmed with all the tasks a business requires. Especially if you are successful, one could become overwhelmed quickly.
When your business becomes successful, you may want to consider outsourcing many tasks. Even tasks you can do and feel comfortable with. After all, isn't one of the reasons we are all interested in the home based business is to have more free time. Yes, we all want to make more money, but the conveniences of the online world can be just as rewarding as the financial rewards. More time with family, vacations, hobbies, and recreation are all perks that can be byproducts of internet marketing.
Major corporations outsource all kinds of jobs to keep cost in line and lesson the need for employees that aren't contributing to the bottom line. Those people need work too. For many, that is their home base business.
Hiring jobs out can save expenses like taxes also. Since they are not your employees, you will not be responsible for matching social security and medicare taxes. This alone is a savings of 7.65%. And of course there's unemployment, workers comp and many other considerations. Also the type of work you are likey to outsource would not require a full time position, although there is a need for specialty work. Often times, that is very difficult to find in a part time employee.
