Orlando vacation homes can offer you several advantages over other forms of accommodation for people enjoying their holidays at Disney world. Of course, there are many other things to do in and around Orlando other than Disney World, such as SeaWorld, Gatorland, Florida Eco Tours and dozens of golf courses, so you don't want to be too confided to Disney with your accommodation, if you get my meaning.

It is also true that are loads of hotels in the area, and also cabins, trailers and the like, but for sheer value you can't beat an Orlando vacation home. These offer the freedom of cabin or trailer with the luxury of a hotel, all at a fantastic price that will just about pay for your traveling costs or more. The money you save on accommodation will surprise you, particularly if you have a large family, or there is a large group of you travelling together.

You might think that $210 a night is expensive, but that's the price for a 5-bedroom vacation home in Orlando that can sleep 10. Work it out: that comes to $21 each, or even just $42 if there are just 5 of you with a bedroom each. If you are just a single family. Compare these prices with a hotel or even a trailer park! And look at what you get:

Vacation Homes offer you a private pool and spa, and also a fully fitted luxury kitchen and a games room. Your own pool table and table football, plus a satellite TV in each room with DVD players and a games console. The lounge will have a massive flat screen TV, and most bedrooms are en suite. You have all the entertainment you want, and can rustle up some food whenever you feel like it without worrying about the cost of room service. Your own freezer and refrigerator, and your own washing machine and dryer which is very handy when you have young children.

A vacation home is better for the children than a trailer or cabin set in a resort, because you know where they are most of the time. Try keeping a load of active children entertained in a hotel room for any more than 5 minutes, and try fitting them all quietly into a trailer at night. This is supposed to be your vacation too, so do you want to spend all your time looking after them and cleaning up before the maid's due? Yes, people do that, and I am sure you do too!

In an Orlando vacation home, you can tidy up when you feel like it. You get your booze from the local beer shop and food from the supermarket. Eat and drink at reasonable prices, not at hotel bar and restaurant prices that think of a price and then double it. Enjoy a few drinks on the patio by your own private pool, not filled with dozens of other kids doing heaven knows what. You can have peace and quiet when you need it, with no chance of being stuck in a room above the ventilator or beside the elevator.

A vacation home in Orlando is a great place to stay for a bunch of golfing buddies. You could come yourselves or bring your wives and partners - heck, there's plenty room in these villas. Spend morning and afternoon on the golf course, then relax in the pool in evening with a few beers or a bottle of wine, and a few burgers or chilli dogs. Could you do that in a hotel room? Or even in a trailer or a cabin? Perhaps, but not so cheaply and certainly not privately!

If you want company and a lot more to do at night, many of these Orlando vacation homes are set in a resort, with plenty entertainment going on and lots of stuff to keep the kids happy. Also, don't forget, that Orland itself has a lot to offer: lot's of great restaurants and theme bars, entertainment complexes and casinos and anything else that turns you on. You have plenty for the kids to do all day, and you could go off for a few golf lessons while your partner takes the family to Disney World.

So next time you are thinking of a Disney World holiday, rip up the hotel brochure and give yourself a proper break at any of the Orlando vacation homes that are available all over the city - it's great value, and the more of you there is, then the cheaper it will be for each of you. You don't live in one room, So why vacation in one?
