No matter what type of product or service you sell through your Internet business, your marketing campaign relies on content. Content is King in the Internet realm. You need to constantly send out new or repurposed content in your articles, Blogs, and email messages. Since content is King, it is critical that you constantly write articles and Blogs to keep your Internet business humming and sales rolling in.

You may be new to the Internet business game and have not written or submitted any articles. Following are common questions regarding articles and Blogs that will set you on the road to success.

Article Question #1: What should articles include? Articles should be 300-700 words in length, and include a Title, 2-3 sentence summary, and a keyword list. You can write articles yourself or outsource the writing to a freelance writer on Elance.com.

Article Question #2: How should you submit articles for publication? What format should your articles be in? Head to www.ezine.com or www.searchwarp.com and you will see that you actually cut and paste in your text for your article. You don't submit a word file or PDF file. You can write your article in MS Word or Note pad to begin with and then copy and past the text into the article submission website or program.

Article Question #3: Is there a way to automate the article submission process to some degree? Yes, use the Article Submitter Pro software program to help speed up the article submission process. It will automatically populate many of the fields for you.

Blog Question #1: Why is blogging an effective way to generate leads? Use www.blogger.com to set up a Blog in three easy steps. To make it effective: Put your email address on the Blog. Always update Blog with new content as often as you can. Put articles, emails, and press releases, etc. on your Blog. Using these types of content that you have already created is great because you are repurposing content without much extra work.

Blog Question #2: How does writing a Blog affect my website page rank? Blogs will be higher ranked by the search engines if you update them more often. Make sure that each time you submit information that you then ping to your Blog. You can use www.pingomatic.com and www.pingoat.com. Give your Title, URL, and other information to help drive traffic to your Blog. Submit your RSS feeds to multiple locations as well.

Also, make sure your Blog has an Opt-In box that captures their personal information. Very important! This is a great way to get new subscribers to your list.
