It's really not as tough as it may sound and there are a few things you should do to get the most out of your email money making efforts. Here are four things you must keep in mind when trying to make money from an email list. First of all, be sure to use a highly reputable auto responder service. Ask around and see what the top marketers are using. Don't get caught using a service that is unreliable or a cheap one that will put their ads on your emails. Most services require a low monthly fee but give you many options to make your email marketing campaign look very professional and clean. Next, it is an absolute must that you develop a good rapport and build credibility with your list first. You shouldn't just sell sell sell all the time. Give away some quality things, i.e. free reports, software, or anything that your list may appreciate. Once they see your not all about making money, then you can promote a few products. Don't be afraid to purchase co-registration leads. Many people don't have the time or energy to do the necessary things it takes to build a list. In that case it would be an excellent idea to purchase leads to increase your list. The only draw back from purchasing some high quality leads are the fact that they don't know who you are or what you represent. It will be up to you to work harder to to build a relationship so they may be apt to buy from you at some point. Last and not least, work hard at doing the things it takes to build your list and do those things constantly. Write articles, press releases, let it be known in forums, and create a PPC campaign to get more traffic.
