Traffic is the essential element to making money online. Major traffic is what you are going to need to be able to make a full time income using the internet. Here are three easy steps you need to take in order to get major traffic to your blog.

The first step to get major traffic to your blog is great content. It is so important that your blog stands out from the other blogs in your niche. Let your visitors know how your blog is different and better and what it has to offer that other blogs don't.

Offering your visitors great content will give them incentive to return and even spread the word about how good your blog is. Great content should include plenty of well written articles designated to help your visitors solve a problem. 'How To' articles are very effective tools for capturing more traffic.

Be sure to point out that you are offering your visitors all this great content for nothing. You could easily charge for this information but you are going to give it to them for FREE. Free monthly bonuses are another great idea for content that will attract more traffic.

That brings me to the next step on how to get major traffic to your blog. Attract attention.

There are many ways to do this. Submit your articles to the article directories leaving a link to your blog in the authors resource box, make valuable contributions in forums with a link to your blog in the signature box, and social bookmark all of your blog posts.

Another effective way to attract attention to your great content on your blog is to email your peers. Let them know that you just wrote something that his/her visitors may find helpful. They may just put a link on their blog to yours or even mail their list. A good way to do this is to already have a link to one of their posts on your blog. That way they may feel more appreciable and want to return the favor.

The third and final step to getting major traffic to your blog is to take massive action. It is imperative that you are adding great content to your blog on a daily basis as well as attracting attention. After a while you will not have to focus too much on attracting attention because your great content will do that for you.

However, I can't stress enough about how important this last step is. Real action will produce real results. Add great content every day and you will soon start to see your traffic stats go up and up. The more great content you add, the more visitors you will see. Traffic equals dollars.
