The guy at the counter was getting really upset.

He was holding this dripping monstrosity on a plate that barely contained it while the waitress looked on as if to say;" If that's what he orders, what can I do?"

From behind the counter, the manager was doing his best to calm everyone down;

"But sir, this is what you ordered."

Slamming his plate down on the counter, the irate customer yelled;

"Who in their right mind orders chocolate pizza! I wanted a chocolate sundae so how come she brings me this?"

"Forgive me for asking sir," the manager continued, "but do you remember the day you first came here?"

"Not exactly, I've been coming here for years."

"And every time you come in we have this same conversation"

"So, what are you saying?"

"The first time you came here you made it clear that no matter what you ordered, you wanted it served as a pizza. You order sausage and egg; you want sausage and egg pizza. You order fish and chips; you want fish and chips pizza. And you tell me that no matter what you say in the future, how much you scream and shout and protest, this is what you want us to serve you. So today you order chocolate sundae and chocolate sundae pizza is what we bring you."

Now I don't know if anyone anywhere has ever put in such a curious forward order with a restaurant, or if any restaurateur has taken it seriously enough to carry the order out, but I use this to illustrate how engaging the Law of Attraction without first checking your own subconscious forward orders can make it appear to malfunction.

Here's an example of what I mean.

Let's say you're at a point in your life where you're looking for a relationship. You use the Law of Attraction to attract someone who looks a certain way, has a certain kind of temperament with character traits that match your ideal of the kind of person you want to meet. You get a clear picture and sense of what this person will be like and sure enough you meet them, but there's a problem.

The problem is they like you and get on well with you, but only as a friend. There's no romantic spark.

So you carry on visualizing and meet someone else with similar results and then the same again. In fact, thinking back, you realise that this pattern has been recurring for most of your adult life. You have plenty of friends but no lover.

So, what causes this? Why is there such a central flaw in the Law of Attraction's delivery service?

In all likelihood, one of your first if not your very first relationship was with someone who was once just a close friend, but then you became lovers and when you later lost that love, you lost your friendship along with it. This loss hurt you so much that you placed a forward order in your subconscious to avoid any kind of relationship that went beyond friendship, especially with anyone you really liked and got along well with.

Do you see the dilemma you face? You just can't have it all. You, or at least the subconscious command centre that wields such influence over your present and future reality, simply won't allow it.

Like the confused customer with his chocolate sundae pizza, everyone you attract into your life that you really fancy will have this same shortcoming.

If you're caught in this kind of reality pattern, you need to revisit your past through your subconscious and make peace with it. Only then can you cancel the forward order that is tainting your reality today.
