There are a lot of different work at home affiliate opportunities that you can choose to use to start your own home business. One thing you need to know about is that not all of the opportunities will be legitimate. There is an easy way to find out if it is legitimate or not. Here are some things that you can do to tell if you have found legitimate work at home affiliate opportunities.

One: The first thing you want to do is to thoroughly read everything on the affiliate programs website. Find out what their privacy policy is and everything else you can about them. The more information you learn about the company, the easier it will be to tell if it is one of the legitimate work at home affiliate opportunities.

Two: The second thing you want to do is to contact the company. Contact them more than once and with more than one method over a week's time. In other words, send them an email, call them and even write them if you want to.

This is important to do because you want to make sure that they are going to answer you each time no matter what method you use. The legitimate companies will contact you all the time and will be friendly and helpful. If they are not legitimate then they may contact you once or twice but then they won't bother after that no matter how many other times you contact them.

Three: You don't want to jump into any home business without first finding out what others are saying about it. Visit forums and blog reviews that will let you know whether others have had a good experience with the company or not. People will talk and let others know about a work at home opportunity, especially if they have had a bad experience with them. This is one step that you want to take if you really want to know if you have found legitimate work at home affiliate opportunities.

There are other things you can do such as contacting the Better Business Bureau, to find out if a company is legitimate. However, these three things are the most important things you can do to tell if you have found legitimate work at home affiliate opportunities. Don't skip any of them because if you do then you will end up regretting it. It is always best to know if a company is legitimate before you start your home business. That way you can concentrate on making it a success, instead of beating yourself up because you didn't do your homework first.
