What I am talking about is creating an authority blog in a niche that appeals to you. To successfully do this you want to pick something to write about you have an interest in or possibly even a passion for. You can also pick a niche that you are an expert in as well.

What you are doing is creating a blog that is so exciting that people will want to subscribe to your RSS feed, or to bookmark it and come back on a regular basis. The benefits of doing this is you have a group of visitors following you, and you get to have fun at the same time.

From a monetary standpoint there are numerous ways you can make money creating an internet home based business with your authority blog. One of the easiest ways is to sell advertising based on the number of visitors your blog is getting. Again this will take some time to get to that point, but there are people earning six and seven figure incomes doing nothing more than blogging and selling advertising on their blog.

You can also monetize it with affiliate programs including banners to the programs you represent, or pay per click programs such as Google Adsense. Every time someone clicks on an ad or buys a product you earn a commission.

If having an internet home based business that pays you back on the long-run appeals to you, then as a serious entrepreneur creating an authority blog is certainly an outstanding way to do it.
