One of the most multipurpose foods known in the whole wide world is the potato because it can be prepared in so many various ways. One of the most popular ways of cooking potatoes is by baking them because it can be eaten as a main meal or it can be eaten as a snack. But not all of us knew that a potato can be baked using a BBQ grill. A baked potato on a BBQ grill is actually an amazingly delicious meal. Let's take a look at the steps or tips on how to prepare an amazingly delicious meal featuring a baked potato on a BBQ grill.

The first tip to this amazingly delicious meal is to ensure the cleanness and freshness of the potatoes that will be used. This first tip is actually applicable not only for a baked potato on a BBQ grill but for any other cooking methods featuring potatoes.

The second tip for preparing baked potatoes on a BBQ grill is to wrap the potatoes in tinfoil. There are some people who wrap several pieces of potatoes together in one tinfoil. This may be feasible but the potatoes will be as juicy as the potatoes wrapped individually. It must also be ensured that the tinfoil that will be used per potato is big enough to cover it in its entirety. Moreover, oil must be brushed all over the tinfoil to achieve best results. The result of this is actually a moist and nice piece of potato. And for sure, it will result to an amazingly delicious meal.

Baked potato on a BBQ grill actually takes approximately forty five minutes to cook. When cooking, the potato may be placed on any area of the grill but it has to be ensured that the area with the hottest temperature must be avoided. To determine whether the potato is already cooked or not, a fork may be used to prick it. When it is done, the fork slides easily to the middle part of the potato.

Another tip for an amazingly delicious meal featuring baked potato on a BBQ grill is to add seasoning on the potato before covering it in tinfoil. The seasonings that will be used to allow a flavorful potato should be up to the cook. Experimenting on the seasonings that will be used is actually exciting! However, we would also want to share some tips for preparing a baked potato on a BBQ grill. To prepare an amazingly delicious meal, ensure that on the tinfoil that will be used to cover the potato, a tablespoon of oil will be poured in the center and brushed. Add seasonings such as herbs, pepper, salt or whatever else that can be used to season the potato.

Aside from whole potatoes, sliced potatoes may also be baked using the BBQ grill and this is also results to an amazingly delicious meal! Slicing the potatoes can actually allow the potatoes to have crispy edges and soft center. It is not only a delicious meal, but also an exciting way to prepare potatoes!
