The reasons behind it are firstly, for most people, it is a known fact that they have to see your message 7 times before they make a decision and purchase your recommendation. By capturing your site visitors' names and email addresses, you will be able to send them more information about your product and remind them to only buy from you.

Secondly, you can 'reuse' your captured leads for promoting other affiliate programs or your own products. That way you will be able to make an ongoing money rather than 'one time sale'.

Thirdly, you can build a trustable readership with your subscribers by publishing an informative article to your subscribers about tips and tricks of your targeted niche and build . At the end of the day, most people will buy from a person that can provide them useful information rather than a stranger with sales pitch.

Tips #3: Ask for a commission raised from merchants.

If you are already successful with a particular affiliate program, don't be shy and negotiate for a percentage raised in your commission. After all you are using your own advertising costs such as (Google Adwords and Yahoo Overture) and effort to get your merchant more sales. If he or she is smart enough, they will most likely granted you the permission (providing your request is reasonable) rather losing a valuable asset.
