Yes, in the summer time it gets pretty hot, and in late summer months around August through October it gets humid with the monsoon season. But, we can still clean carpets in the heat.

Carpets dry faster here in this city as well. The average drying time is between 2 and 8 hours depending on a variety of circumstances.

A little known fact that stumps many people is that it actually takes longer for carpets to dry in the summer months here in Mesa than it does in the winter months.

This longer drying time is due to the fact that when we clean carpets, we use very hot water. Water temperatures are at 200 to 220 degrees Fahrenheit, which produces steam.

Steam means moisture is in the air, and we need dry air to move across the carpet to dry it the fastest. Clients are encouraged to turn the air conditioning on during the drying phase in order to push cold dry air into the rooms, which will remove the moisture and aid in the drying process.
