Would you consider yourself a serious entrepreneur? I suppose that depends on the definition of serious.
I'm sure many have thought about it and dreamed about it, but never really considered it attainable. You've got to be made of the right stuff. But the good news is, if you mix the right ingredients together, you can succeed. So the "right stuff" can be created, you don't have to be born with it.
I can't remember who the person was that said that out of great adversity comes triumph, but they certainly knew what they were talking about.
There are no secrets into becoming a successful online entrepreneur. There's no magic either. But there are some very important attributes that you need to either have already or gain, before you can succeed.
They're not hard to attain, but they will take consistent effort on your part - dare I say it, work. As you've probably heard many times before, the rewards far outweigh the cost.
And if there is a secret, or you do believe that there's magic involved in becoming successful, maybe you're right. Maybe that's the way you choose to interpret what happens.
You see, even though there are so many programs, systems and strategies online, the number of folks pursuing these far outnumbers what is available.
Not only that, but as our global economy continues to fall into the depths of desperation and uncertainty, the number of folks seeking to become reliant only on themselves explodes. So in turn, the number of people seeking their own proven home business online is also skyrocketing.
You need to realize that there are hundreds, if not thousands of others in the exact same place as you. You are all being presented with exactly the same information, system, program or strategy. So how come some are wildly successful and others fail miserably?
Because there is one ingredient that is brought into the mix that can never be the same for everyone - and that's you. So it makes sense that the only difference between you and the next guy is in how you interpret the information, and what action you take as a result.
It's really about mindset. The systems, programs and strategies are all out there, but in order to be successful online, you've got to work on your self-esteem, self-belief and self-image. Did you notice how those words are prefixed with the word "self"? Doesn't that answer the question about how important you are in the whole equation?
And it gives us another very sound reason to remember one of the golden rules of marketing; Do what everyone else doesn't do.
A flock of sheep will always achieve the goal of getting through the gate if there is one of them that is prepared to take on the leadership role and lead the others through that gate. The flock will achieve their purpose, getting through the gate, but that's about all.
It's the intelligence of the lead sheep that determines which gate they will follow him through. And any sheep with an ounce of intelligence will obviously lead his flock through a gate that is rewarding for himself, and the flock.
