If you look back in history at the sport of football you will find that there have been many changes in the clothing that the teams wear. At one point and time, teams were identified by the colored armbands or even their caps and socks. As time progressed on, the uniforms started to take a turn for the better and each team became color coordinated. The color of the uniform will also change for at home games and away games. Some goalkeepers may even change the color of the shirt that they wear for a specific arena that they are competing in. Looking back on history of the sport and of the clothing, you will find that things have changed dramatically over the centuries. Specific changes were made to accommodate not only the players but the spectators and score keepers as well. The football shirt represents the team and the fans in turn wear them to support the team and the sport as well.
