There isn't a single man around who would not love to have the secret to getting a girl to fall for them quickly and easily. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a book that was guaranteed to ensure that the guy gets the girl. Unfortunately, that is not the case, and it the best ways to impress a girl really depends on the girl herself. However, there are some things that you can do that nearly every girl likes, that will help you get the girl and keep her if you want too.

The first thing that you have to remember is confidence, not cockiness. For whatever reason men seem to confuse the two and will often turn a girl off by being obnoxious rather than simply confident. So, what is the difference between the two? Well, a guy who is obnoxious will address a girl in a term like baby, or babe. Without even asking an obnoxious guy will join a girl at a table and start talking, this is not confidence, this is simply being rude.

Instead, if you want to convey confidence, then you should approach a girl while looking her directly in the eyes. Introduce yourself and ask if you can join her, dance, etc. whatever the situation dictates. It is okay to take her gently by the elbow, but refrain from putting your arm around her or trying to hold her hand. Guide, not pull. That is the guy who gets the girl!

If you want to be the guy who gets the girl then after you have approached her and she is open to your presence, talk to her about her, when she asks about you share a little but don't talk too much about yourself. Girls like guys who listen. Try to work in a compliment about her eyes and lips (get her to think about kissing), but don't be crude. Telling her something like she is hot is not going to do it if you want her to stick around, instead try something like, I love your smile, be specific in your compliments, let her know you are paying attention.

Maybe you are not the guy who always gets the girl, however if you treat a woman like she is a person and not a piece of meat (or a contest to be won) you will be surprised at the level of attention that you receive from woman. Women want to know that you want her, but she doesn't want you to crudely come out and say it. Find the right words and use them and before you know it, you will get the girl.
