If you or someone you know smoke cigarettes, I bet you understand how hard it is to stop smoking. People try anything from patches to gum to you name it. Until now there really hasn't been an easy way to stop smoking fast. The recent advancements in micro technology have allowed for the development of one of the more revolutionary inventions in the world. The electronic cigarette is already creating a huge buzz in the smoking community.

It is because the electronic (or e-cigarette or electric cigarette) is very similar to the look, taste, and feel of a traditional tobacco smoke, but does not contain thousands of deadly chemicals that your ordinary smokes contain. The electronic cigarette is a device that simulates smoking, but does not actually emit smoke at all. The electric cigarette is comprised of 3 parts.

The atomizer, the battery, and the cartridge. When a user inhales on the end of the electronic cigarette, the battery activates the atomizer. The atomizer then heats up the nicotine solution that turns into vapor form. The vapor is then inhaled into the user just as smoke would be inhaled from a regular cigarette. This unique smoke like vapor tastes like regular smoke, but then when exhaled, evaporates rather quickly. This leaves no lingering smell and no chance of second hand smoke.

Other benefits of electronic cigarettes are that you can get your nicotine fix whenever and wherever you want. Laws in the United States only target products that contain tobacco. Since the electronic cigarette contains no tobacco, you can use it in places where you never thought you would be able to smoke again. People from all over the world that are using electronic cigarettes are now able to use them in restaurants, bars, and even airplanes. You no longer have to go outside to some designated area or a smoke filled room inside the airport.

The financial benefits of using an electronic cigarette are another plus. People who switch from using traditional tobacco cigarettes to electronic cigarettes can save almost 75 percent. It is because the cost of a refill cartridge is 75 percent less than the price of the equivalent amount of cigarettes. If you smoke a pack of cigarettes a day, you could easily be paying almost $1,500 or more per year. By using an electronic cigarette, people are now able to "smoke" wherever they want, save over $1,000, not ingest thousands of deadly chemicals, and not smell up everything around them.

These benefits are what is quickly making the electronic cigarette a huge revolution in the smoking industry. People who have been trying to stop smoking for years say they now can with relative ease. If you have never seen or heard of an electronic cigarette before, in the near future they will be as common as regular smokes. They are very popular in their country of origin, China, and throughout Europe. They are quickly becoming popular in the United States. Electronic cigarettes are an invention that will likely change the world.
