For those of you who are members of SubmitYOURArticle.com, here's a tutorial for how to use the new Resource Box Manager.
Here we go!
1) Login to your account at SubmitYOURArticle.com.
2) Go to Article Manager => Resource Box Manager

3) This takes you to the Resource Box Manager Page. Click "Enter New Resource Box"
4) This takes you to the "New Resource Box" page.
Enter the name of your resource box in the "Name" field at the top.
This name is for your own use in helping you to identify which resource box it is. For example, I named my resource boxes "Creative Article Marketing" and "SubmitYOURArticle.com", since I write articles driving traffic back to both those sites and have different resource boxes for each one.
You'll see below I'm creating a default resource box to use for when I submit articles for Creative Article Marketing, so that's why I put "Creative Article Marketing" as the name.

5) Enter Your resource box(es). If you're a new member who hasn't submitted an article yet, or if you would like to start fresh and enter a completely new resource box into your manager, then you would manually type in your text resource box.
Your HTML resource box is optional–please enter it if you like. Here's a tutorial on how to enter an HTML resource box, in case you're interested.
OR…
You can automatically insert previously used resource boxes. You will see a blue link below the text resource box area that says "Choose from a previous resource box".
If you'd like to use a resource box you've used in your article submissions in the past, click that link. You'll see a list of your resource boxes pop up (text and HTML resource boxes), and it will look like this (this is my list of previous resource boxes, so of course yours will look different! ):

6) I wanted to use a previous resource box, so I clicked "Enter this resource box" and it automatically filled in my text and HTML resource boxes from a previous submission! This is what it looked like:
7) Then click "Submit" to save.
8) That will take you back to the Resource Box Manager page, et voila!
Check it out–I now have a default resource box saved!

You can enter as many resource boxes as you like, and choose one to use as a default.
How To Use The Resource Box Manager When Entering A New Article
9) When you are ready to enter an article, go to your home page and click "Enter New Article"
You'll see that your default resource box is automatically filled in for you on the Enter Your New Article page.

See how my resource box is already in there, and I didn't even type in anything?
10) If you don't want to use your default resource box, but would rather use one of your other resource boxes in the Resource Box Manager, you would click the "Choose resource box" link which appears below your text resource box field.

You see how the pop up box on the right shows me my two resource boxes that I created in the Resource Box Manager? Remember, I named one Creative Article Marketing and the other SubmitYOURArticle.com, since those are two of the sites that I write articles for.
And, if I wanted to use a completely new Resource box, I could delete the text that appears in the resource box field and start from scratch.
And that's it! That wasn't hard, was it?
If you submit articles for multiple sites or if you use different resource boxes for different types of articles, you'll definitely be using this Resource Box Manager tool a lot!

I am interested in the SYA software, can you tell me, is it better to submit to the most important directories - such as EzineArticles individually, then use SYA to submit to all the rest? Or is this a requirement?

Hi JC,
Thanks so much for your question. I’m happy to help you with this.
Folks who use our service do not need to submit any articles manually. We submit to bunches of quality publishers many of whom have actually requested to receive our members articles. We submit to EzineArticles.com, so you wouldn’t need to submit to them yourself.
Perhaps you were asking that because you’re thinking that it’s best to do a manual submission to the bigger directories?
JC, for the 7 major article directories you will sign up with them and create your own account, then you will let us know what your login is for each of the 7 top article directories. When we submit to those sites, we will use your own login. The result is the same as doing it manually, except you don’t have to manually submit!
If however you really, really wanted to submit manually to some of the directories, there are 7 directories that you can opt-out of (Ezine Articles and other top directories are included in that list). I wouldn’t suggest this, but you do have that option.
And just to let you know, those 7 directories are only a handful of our publishers. The hundreds of other web sites in our distribution network that we submit to directly fall into one of the following categories:
* The site does not require any log in to submit an article
* We use a distribution account to log in and submit your article under your author name
* We submit to them via email
Also, I just wanted to be sure that you knew that SubmitYOURArticle.com actually isn’t a software, but a membership site.
This means it’s less work for you, as we update our publisher list pretty much every day (if you were using a software, you end up maintaining the publisher list yourself, which is beyond time consuming!) We also do regular feature upgrades which is something you wouldn’t find on software that you install on your computer.
So, all you do is become a member, do an initial sign up with the 7 main directories and then submit your articles.
I hope this helps–let me know if you need anything else!

JC,
I have used a lot of services online, SYA is little known, however the easiest and simplest to use. (the interface is the best)
I recommend it to all my clients who wwant to take the do it yourself way.
I underestimated it for a while and talked about what happened when I really stared using it here:
