As long as you put an introductory paragraph and a concluding paragraph, a numbered list is extremely helpful to a reader (helps them process the article better), and publishers love to make things as easy to read as possible. The same with bullets--maybe it is the HTML that they are objecting too, but you can make bullets without using HTML. If you take your time putting together a useful list article it normally seems to inspire the follow up article for each of the list items. If you take the time to put together a good top twenty list you have something to write about for a week. Really did not think abut the idea of bundling them together and giving them away as a free gift how clever.
