It depends on what type of ranking your interested in:

1) If you&#039;re looking for your keyword ranking, do a search in Google or Yahoo for your keyword term and then see where your other site comes up on the list. I would recommend checking this every month just to get a big picture view of how your site is progressing over the span of many months. 

2) If you&#039;re looking for your PageRank, you can download the Google Toolbar here: 

http://www.google.com/tools/firefox/toolbar/FT5/intl/en/index.html

The toolbar has a feature that will tell you the PR of the web page you&#039;re looking at.
