Thank you for this post. I sometimes get discouraged with my article marketing but I am consistent.

Just wondering though, what's a minimum number of articles to write each week? I have 2 sites and I write 1-2 articles each week for both. That's only about 4 articles a month per site. Can that really have an impact?

Also, I have had my work stolen in the past so I started writing an article, posting it on my site and then changing the title and rewording the content to submit to the directories. However, this is time consuming. Any suggestions?

Great post!

I do feel that rudimentary keyword knowledge can certainly help an author. Researching keywords is very easy and takes just a bit of time when compared to the time it takes to write a good article.

Very good advice though. When you're just getting started they aren't essential to successful article marketing but keywords are another tool in your arsenal and can help you gain exposure.

I get a lot of traffic through author pages as well and they are rarely utilized, but that's a whole, new subject.

Great post! There's some great advice in some of the comments here as well.

Great advice!

Patience is a virtue. I think in today's "now, now, now" society, people easily get used to seeing results immediately and if they don't get immediate results, they quit disillusioned. Dogged determination to succeed and giving your campaign the time it needs to come to fruition are essential. I LOVED the seedling analogy. Very apt!

Great article and a great motivator. I see myself wasting time on other things when just like you say I can definatly see results both short term and long term from my articles that I have wrote. I have several in the hopper that need to be finished and I am going to do that right now.

Thanks again
