How To Submit Articles: Should You Use A Different Resource Box Each Time?
Published By Google+

This reader had an excellent question about resource boxes:

If I’m using the same pen name for a new article submission, should I use a new  Resource Box, or keep them the same when using the same pen name for each article used with that pen name?

That’s a great question. You have a few options:

Use The Resource Box Manager

One thing that we suggest is that you create a few different resource boxes to use for each pen name, and then you can store them in the Resource Box Manager. You can find the resource box manager by going to Account Manager, and then Resource Box Manager from within your SubmitYourArticle.com account.

For each resource box you create, you will give a name to help you identify the resource box when you’re inserting it into an article. The name you give each resource box should be unique, to help you differentiate the different ones that you’ll create.

When you’re submitting an article you can just go to the Resource box field, and click on “Choose Resource Box”. From there you’ll see the different resource boxes that you’ve created and saved.

Customize The Resource Box

Once you have one of your basic resource boxes entered, then you can customize the resource box to suit the article, if you like. That is sometimes helpful in moving the reader’s eye from the article to the resource box, and then also to the link in your resource box.

The idea is that you have some momentum going with the reader being interested in the article topic. Your article has captured your reader’s interest, and you want to let that momentum carry through to the resource box, by creating a resource box that appears to be a continuation of the article.

Here is a post on our blog about customizing resource boxes that may be helpful to you.

Use ArticleLeverage to Create Resource Box Variations

Even if you decide not to customize your resource boxes, it’s a good idea to make each one different, or at least don’t submit the same one every time. This helps with making each article submission appear unique to search engines (and it’s especially helpful if you’ve also created ArticleLeverage variations for the rest of the article).

One of the great things about creating ArticleLeverage variations for your resource boxes is that you can not only vary the text you use, but you can also link to different pages on your site. Having links going to a variety of pages on your site is helpful for SEO.

If you do choose to use the same resource box each time for each pen name, it won’t prevent your articles from being accepted, but for best results overall, it is a good idea to customize the resource box and use a different one each time.
