Let me go through this first batch (we’ll add more folks to the Resource Box Rehab Hall Of Fame as time goes on), and then I’ll tell you why these resource boxes have got the right stuff:

Why do these resource boxes get a gold star?
They each indclude:
- an author name
- a little bio info
- a reason to click through to the website
- a link to their website
- and they’re also of appropriate length (up to 450 characters including spaces)
Now, when we asked for folks to share their resource boxes, by necessity people had to submit their basic one, knowing that once you have a strong basic resource box, it can be customized at a later point to suit each article you submit.

Hello. Great job. This is a great story. Thanks!
Yes the resource box is the most important thing to do well. That is your chance for free advertising and you need to take advantage of it.
Hi all, I’m Warren Hatton from http://www.fitnesstimes.co.uk, retailers of all types of fitness equipment such as treadmills and cross trainers at up to 80% off the RRP’s.
I have been reading these articles and tips for weeks and weeks and find them invaluable. I’m still learning as there is so much to learn but as they say “Each day is a school day”
I’ve now managed to get 39 inbound links to my site and I’m working on this more and more! I would like to thank this site for all the help it offers.
My resource box sucked !
But now I have these tips it’s bound to improve greatly, thanks for sharing them, Sally
Thanks for the great tips. I finally got my first article published in Submit Your Article. I regret I did not read this article before but I am using these tips in my second one. By the way, can a resource box be edited after the the article is published ? Thanks Hector
@Hector Herrera: Hi Hector,
Great job getting your first article in. If the article has already been distributed, then you can make changes to the resource box (or article), but those changes will only show up on our own article directory (since the article has already gone out to the distribution network).
To make that change to your resource box as it appears for that article on our own directory, click the “Edit” icon next to your article, and then make whatever changes you need.
But note–if your article is still in distribution, that “Edit” icon will not be available yet. It will show up when your article finishes distributing.
I hope that helps!
Steve
