Submitting Articles To Publishers – Grow Your Traffic And Sales

articles-replicating

When you submit an article, you start the replication process into motion...

Lately we’ve been going over a lot of basic information to help a local business owner (or any type of business owner really) learn to make the most of his or her website by submitting articles to online publishers.

Here are the topics we’ve covered so far:

What is the purpose of your website?

Places To Submit Articles: An Article Marketing How-To Guide

Now I just want to put a bookend on this series by giving a detailed overview of  the impact that submitting articles can have on your business.

Spontaneous replication…

Have you ever wished there were more of you?

There’s so much to do, some many marketing opportunities to take advantage of–if only you could spontaneously replicate yourself, you could accomplish all of your goals.

If you could spontaneously replicate yourself, you could have one of you stay back at the store, then send an army of other “you’s” out into the great big world as sales agents to tell everyone about your business.

Remember, in this fantasy there is no limit to the amount of times you can replicate yourself.

Oh, and as a bonus, any “copies” of yourself that you make also have the power to create copies of themselves (which are really copies of you–go with me on this!).

The marketing opportunities are gargantuan and ever expanding! Nice daydream, huh? I’ve got good news for you–in the internet world this dream is possible.

Your articles are like an army sales agents.

an article is list an army of sales agents.

Your articles are like an army of sales agents.

Every article that you submit is like a sales rep for you.

How so?

Remember that along with every article you submit you will also include a resource box.

The resource box is the spot where you can try to convince readers to go to your website, purchase your products, and/or employ your services.

When you submit your article to an article directory, you start the replication process into motion.

Once your article is on the directory, it will be republished by other website owners. Every time your article is republished, your resource box is also replicated.

There is no end to this replication process. It goes on and on continuously.

Could you use an example to help you wrap your mind around this?

A consistent article marketing campaign produces a compounded result.

A consistent article marketing campaign produces a compounded result.

Let’s say that you submit one article to one directory, and in about a month it has so far had around 100 views. Not bad–some achieve more, some achieve less.

Multiply that by 12, allowing for the fact that the view rate will be higher when the article is first distributed, and over the course of a year, you would expect this article to be at around 1000 views.

Multiply that by say just 10 other popular article directories, and that’s 10,000 views in a year – just for a single article.

Now, if you multiply that by 8 articles a month – or even 2, 3 or 4 – over the course of the year, and the numbers get silly (and I’m no mathematician, so I won’t try, but I suspect the word ‘compounded’ would get used a bit ) – and this is where the dramatic impact on your site comes into play.

Now, if you use an automatic article submission service like SubmitYOURArticle.com, you submit your article to us and then we turn around and submit your article to hundreds of targeted publishers. Then the numbers get even sillier! You get the idea.

Each article is like a sales agent going out into different parts of the internet to market your business.

Article marketing allows you to have a continuously growing army of sales agents. The true power of article marketing comes from executing a consistent article marketing campaign where you submit articles each and every month.

Would you like to have an endless quantity of other “you’s” traveling around the world marketing your business?

Then start writing and submitting articles!

Do it consistently month in and month out. Every time you submit an article, imagine that you’re building up your army of sales reps.

Yes…I’ve mutilplied myself hundreds of times and I know article marketing works very well. But I only do hand submissions. I still haven’t been convinced that mass submissions work as well?

Hi Steve,

I’m new to article marketing and haven’t seen the results yet but your article has reminded me that it is long term. Compounding is powerful. Thanks for the info and encouragement. Keep em coming!

Hi Steve
This is a good article, and it serves to remind me that I have been slack with my own article writing. One more is long overdue, so I better get cracking and get to replicate another me. Thanks for the reminder. But the way you put it is a fun way. Thank you.
