The Traditional Article Marketing Model
Published By Google+

Article marketing in diagrammatic form - click image to see full size

For those who don’t quite understand the concept of traditional article marketing, I thought I’d throw in a quick visual representation (click the link … it’s too large to fit into the post itself).

At the top, you’ll see your content – this is a short article you’ve created, and this is then submitted through our article submitter, which takes care of syndicating, or distributing, that content for you.

We send your content to its high quality network of ezine publishers, article directories and other websites, who are all hungry for quality content they can freely use.

The crucial factor for you is that your content contains link(s) – one or two – back to your website, and this is how you get the traffic, both directly and indirectly.

Let me know what you think … I’ll also share a visual representation of a more advanced model of article marketing with you soon …

I wish everyone would use plain English like you do. I went to school at a time when English was taught in the original manner. Most of the time I cannot understand what these GURUs are talking about.
Keep up the good work and the straightforward English.

Thanks Steve, very well explained how articles are distributed once published and this is the first time I’ve seen a chart like yours! I’m sure you have educated a few people who have viewed your blog. Regards Gary

    Hi Steve,

Thanks for this explanation very helpful. I have a question regarding a teleseminar that I listened too. The subject was on SEO and the statement was made that Article Writing is no longer ant good for SEO. Stiil okay for bringing traffic to your website.

The reason given why Article Writing is no longer any good for SEO is because Google has changed its algorithm so that when it sees the same content distributed in various websites/pages it downgrades the links.
I use your Article Leverage so will that overcome this issue? Do you know how mucg change we need to make so that we get good SEO?

    Thanks
    Jason

I like your article and the diagram. It makes it easy to understand how article marketing really works to bring traffic to your website.
That reminds me that I need to go to Ezine Articles to check and edit my last article and get it published!
